Add a CommentThe library copy of this DVD is a bootleg, not something sanctioned and produced by MGM or any other studio; the transfer is terrible -- it looks like an old VHS tape. What is supposed to be Technicolor is completely drained, and the typography of the opening credits is blurry. I have no idea is this is a good film or not; the amateurish DVD quality makes the movie unwatchable. Perhaps the library's buyers were duped -- I cannot believe they would spend taxpayers' money on this.
I did not enjoy this movie. It is about selfish, immature people who don't communicate well, and that is not what I look for in a good movie. If you like human drama and angst, you will probably enjoy this movie much more than I did.
